Hello, dear SZT family,

As our Mannheim community settles in for the winter, it's time to reconnect
and update everyone on the future of our cherished reunion traditions. We
have much to look forward to, and even more to honor as our history
continues to unfold.

 

Looking Ahead: 250th Anniversary of the United States

 

Next year marks a truly historic milestone-the 250th birthday of the United
States! This is a rare moment for every family across America, as we reflect
on our ancestors' journeys and the legacy they left for us. Our summer 2026
reunion will celebrate this occasion with special events that honor our
founders, embrace our diversity, and inspire the next generation.

Current strife's & Family Resilience

Today, America faces sharp divisions and uncertainty-political tensions,
social unrest, and economic challenges are making headline news. But our SZT
extended family continues to stand for unity, compassion, and the enduring
power of connecting across generations. Our roots in Mannheim remind us that
families can weather any storm when we come together as did our forefathers.

 

Critical Need for Donations: Help Sustain Our Traditions

Our reunion and quarterly newsletter are only possible thanks to generous
donations from members like you. We're facing real challenges in covering
the costs-our venue rentals, print materials, website upkeep, and outreach
to younger generations. Without your support, our ability to host the
reunion and keep the newsletter running is at risk.

How Can You Help?

There are several heartfelt ways to contribute:

*	Annual Giving - Pledge a yearly gift to sustain reunion activities.
*	In Memory Donations - Honor loved ones who rest in the SZT Cemetery
in Mannheim, NY, by giving in their name. We will publish all memorial
donations in the next issue and at our summer gathering.
*	Sponsor an Event - Underwrite part of the reunion-kids' activities,
historical speakers, or even reunion supplies.
